Introduction
Quality Enhancement Cell at Dow University of Health Sciences was established in the last quarter of 2006 along with 29 other cells in various public sector universities throughout Pakistan under the direction of HEC. The prime objective of these cells is to practice evaluative measures to achieve excellence in performance in all areas of quality education.

The cell started functioning under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Abdul Wahid Usmani (PhD Assessment & Evaluation) who through his extensive experience in conducting Academic Audit programmes and heading several training programmes for various universities and institutions has initiated pioneering quality assurance measures in Dow University.

Currently, the Cell is being headed by Prof.Dr.Rana Qamar Masood.

Currently, the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of HEC conducted ranking of all Pakistan QECs functioning in both public and private sector universities. QEC- DUHS has secured 94% marks stood in W category.
